CLUSTERATLAS4MED “CLUSTER for a dATa driven ruraL sustAinable touriSm for MEDiterranean SMEs” is an innovative project, funded by the Interreg NEXT MED Programme, aimed at strengthening the competitiveness and digitalisation of SMEs operating in rural tourism, contributing to the sustainable development of rural areas of the Mediterranean.
The main innovation of CLUSTERATLAS4MED is the creation of a trans-Mediterranean meta-cluster focused exclusively on rural tourism, designed to foster synergies among public, private and R&D stakeholders.
Corallia, a unit of Athena Research Center, is leading the activities to establish and launch the meta-cluster’s operations, including developing the skills required to deliver services to final beneficiaries and facilitate the participation of additional organisations.
Following a hub-and-spoke model, partners will engage beneficiaries, deliver services in their territories and manage the local spokes.
New Metropolitan Attica S.A., as associated partner, will contribute to the development of outputs/results, facilitating their transfer to its territory. New Metropolitan Attica S.A. leverages the Region of Attica’s strengths in innovation, security, accessibility and digital transformation to attract investment, foster entrepreneurship and generate jobs.
